Lake Marion Greenway Improvements Coming to Lakeville

Exciting developments are underway for Lakeville's outdoor recreation options! The City of Lakeville, in partnership with Dakota County and MnDOT, is moving forward with improvements to the Lake Marion Greenway this summer.

Open House Event

Residents are invited to attend an upcoming Open House to learn more about the proposed improvements and provide valuable feedback.

The event will take place on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, from 4:00 to 6:00 pm at the Antlers Park Pavilion.

Project experts will be on hand to present preliminary designs and answer questions from the community.

About the Project

The Lake Marion Greenway enhancement project represents an important investment in our community's outdoor recreational infrastructure.

Throughout 2025, the City will conduct a comprehensive study to identify existing issues along the greenway and develop alternative design solutions to improve the trail experience.
