Summer is coming up and the Lakeville Area Arts Center is hosting 10 weeks of summer camps for parents.

June in Bloom Mini Sessions

🎭 FRIENDS TRIVIA NIGHT at The Better Half: Test your knowledge on everything from Joey's acting gigs to Ross's divorces while enjoying themed drinks. 🏐 Pickup Bean Bags Game at Heritage Center: Every Tuesday at 10 AM, join fellow community members for pickup games at the Heritage Center in Lakeville. Teams are formed fresh each week from whoever shows up - no long-term commitments, just show up and play! Just $5 to participate.

Wednesday - May 28th

🎵 Music in the Park: City of Farmington presents summer Wednesday night concerts at Rambling River Park! This month features 5 Day Forecast, a high-energy classic rock cover band. Free outdoor entertainment in a scenic park setting - bring your lawn chairs and enjoy live music under the stars.

Thursday - May 29th

🌭 Hot Dog and Dog Night: Farmington Girls Fastpitch Association at Stelzel Fields presents their second annual family-and-pet-friendly fundraiser! Bring your pup to enjoy great softball action, $2 Empire Hot Dogs, and FREE Pup Cups for your four-legged friends.

Friday - May 30th

🍸 Clay & Cocktails at Muddy Waters Studio: No pottery experience needed - expert guidance included while you sip your favorite BYOB beverage and craft your own masterpiece. All materials provided, just bring your creativity (and your people)! Ideal for girls' nights, or creative date nights. 🎸 Live Country Music with Tim Sigler: Babe's is hosting the Tim Sigler Band and they will take the stage at 9 PM for an authentic country music experience. Free admission to enjoy talented local musicians in a classic hometown bar atmosphere. Come out and support live local music - it's going to be a fantastic night!

Saturday - May 31st

🎺 Community Band Concert Series at Casperson Park: From 2-5 PM at the beautiful Outdoor Performance Stage, the Lakeville Area Community Band hosts an afternoon of fantastic live music featuring four talented local ensembles: Northern Winds Concert Band (2 PM), South of the River Band (2:45 PM), Valley Winds (3:30 PM), and Lakeville Area Community Band (4:15 PM). Free admission!

Sunday - June 1st

🚗 41st Annual Northern Star Mustang Club Car Show: Apple Ford Apple Valley hosts this legendary automotive celebration! Show cars $10 pre-registered ($15 day of show), swap meet $10. Features live music by Apple Valley High R&B Band, food trucks (Game Day Grub & North Star Donuts), and celebrates the 20th Anniversary of the Ford GT40. Pre-register at here.

🧱 Kids Build Night - Landmarks Theme: Bricks & Minifigs Apple Valley invites young builders for a 2-hour creative adventure! Kids should build a meaningful landmark at home to share, Mount Rushmore, Pyramids, Niagara Falls, Split Rock Lighthouse, anything that inspires them! Free admission!
