🌿 Lake Marion Greenway Improvements Coming Soon

The City of Lakeville is hosting a public Open House on June 10 to gather feedback on upcoming improvements to the Lake Marion Greenway.

This collaborative project between Lakeville, Dakota County, and MnDOT will enhance one of our community's beloved outdoor trails.

🍜 New Thai Restaurant Opens in Lakeville

SALA Thai Kitchen has officially opened its doors at 17617 Glasgow Ave, near Cub Foods - Lakeville North.

Owners Cherry Naing and her husband are bringing authentic Thai cuisine to our community with a diverse menu featuring favorites like Papaya Salad, Tom Yum Soup, and Green Curry.

🏏 Grand Prairie Park Taking Shape

This summer, residents can enjoy the first completed sections including a grandstand and full-sized baseball diamond with evening lighting.

Looking ahead to the 2026 opening, the park will feature soccer, lacrosse, football and a cricket pitch.

🏗️ Police City Hall Groundbreaking in Burnsville: Be part of local history from 5-7pm (ceremony at 5:30pm) at 100 Civic Center Parkway! The City of Burnsville is bringing the party to the pavement with police and fire vehicles plus construction equipment to explore, a chance to sign your name on a piece of the future building, bounce houses, face painting, yard games, and DJ entertainment.

🧀 Beer and Cheese Pairing: Join The Grater Good and Angry Inch Brewing for an exquisite pairing event featuring a flight of 6 artisan cheeses perfectly matched with craft beers. Learn about cheesemaking, dairy farming, and brewing techniques while indulging in delicious samples. Tickets required (21+ only).

🎵 Family Music Fest: From 5-8pm come to a FREE community celebration at Bethel's Rock Church! This family-friendly festival features live music across multiple genres, mouthwatering food trucks, and tons of family entertainment including games, face painting, and chalk art.

🏎️ Elko’s Season Opener: This opening event features TIMBERWORKS Lumberjacks competing in axe throwing and log rolling, heart-pounding races with Late Models and Thunder Cars, a family-friendly petting zoo, the Big Air ATV & Motorcycle Stunt Show, chaotic School Bus Races, and live music by Skitzo Fonik! 🚒 Pumpers in the Park: Calling all future firefighters and history buffs! The Minnesota Fire Engine Club presents their Annual Northfield Pumpers in the Park at 450 Water St S, Northfield, MN 55057. See real antique fire trucks in operation, hold an actual fire hose, and enjoy delicious food for sale. No tickets required.
